Deputy Hotel Manager

Deputy General Manager Cambridgeshire Luxury Hotel & Spa Lead. Inspire. Deliver Excellence.

We're seeking an experienced Deputy General Manager to join a prestigious luxury hotel and spa in Newmarket.

Ideal for a hospitality professional with experience in an AA Rosette restaurant or Red Star hotel, this is an exciting opportunity to help lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Working closely with the Chief Executive, you'll drive standards, maximise revenue and ensure the smooth running of the hotel and spa.

The Role

• Support the Chief Executive in leading the overall operation.
• Oversee multiple departments, particularly Food & Beverage and Front of House.
• Maintain exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction.
• Drive revenue, manage budgets and control costs.
• Lead, develop and motivate Heads of Department and wider teams.
• Manage guest feedback, complaints and service recovery.
• Oversee Health & Safety, compliance and operational standards.

About You

You'll be a confident, hands-on leader with a passion for luxury hospitality.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Previous experience in a senior hotel management role.
• A background in an AA Rosette or Red Star property.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, particularly Food & Beverage.
• Experience in team leadership, P&L management and budgeting.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A commercial mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
