Bar Staff

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations when necessary.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately, employing basic maths skills for billing.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues alike.
A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£13.43 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
Hull HU5 5BE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
