Job Description
As part of strengthening its team, our client, a biopharmaceutical company, is looking for a Senior Technician in proteins to intervene on long-term experimental campaigns. Main Mission You will be responsible for executing resin lifetime studies using ÄKTA systems in a structured environment with objectives: - Conduct resin lifetime studies (=150 cycles) - Strictly apply validated protocols - Ensure robustness, reproducibility, and complete traceability of long-term experimental campaigns Responsibilities: - Execute lifetime studies on several resins, following experimental protocols rigorously - Prepare buffers independently for ÄKTA systems (Pure / Avant) - Ensure regular maintenance of equipment: - Balances - pH meters and conductometers - UV measurement systems such as SoloVPE or equivalent - Monitor critical parameters in real-time, address early drifts and ensure structured troubleshooting - Carry out cleaning-in-place (CIP), storage, and packaging of resins and ÄKTA systems - Ensure comprehensive, accurate, and compliant documentation - Contribute to data entry, review, and analysis to assess the performance of resins over their lifetime Required Technical Skills: - Solid experience with ÄKTA systems (hardware & software) - Advanced knowledge of Unicorn software and method execution - Management of multiple sequences and cycles - Data analysis and interpretation - Excellent knowledge of protein behavior - Confirmed experience in lifetime/stability studies of resins - Very good mastery of common laboratory equipment (balances, pH/conductivity meters, UV systems such as SoloVPE) - Ability to conduct long, repetitive, and critical studies consistently and rigorously - Strong troubleshooting skills for pressure, leaks, air bubbles, sensor drifts, abnormal behaviors - Experience in GxP or highly regulated environments: Technician, Bachelor or Master in biotechnology, biochemistry, or a related field - Several years of experience with ÄKTA systems and process development, scale-down models, process execution, or pilot studies - Rigor and attention to detail - Resilience and consistency in long-term experimental campaigns jidc6df25daen jit0310aen jpiy26aen
