To complete our team in Epalinges, we are looking for an autonomous person, attentive to detail and quality as a Biomedical Technician. Tasks: Within our state-of-the-art histology department, you participate, as part of a small team, in the entire process of histological tissue sample preparation, significantly contributing to ensuring that medical practices and hospitals across Switzerland obtain accurate diagnoses as quickly as possible for therapeutic decisions. You will capture tissue samples, including data entry through a system, prepare paraffin-embedded tissues, and cut paraffin blocks on all types of microtomes, including independent cutting of sections. You will manage the Hematoxylin-Eosin and immunohistochemistry stains, manual special stains, and the processing and cutting of Mohs surgery specimens as well as SLOW-MOHS sections are part of your varied tasks. Requirements: Degree in Biomedical Engineering /ES, Medical Laboratory Technician, Biology Technician, or equivalent in Histology. Ability to work independently.
