Job Description
A highly regarded independent small animal practice is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their growing team in Banstead.

Located within easy reach of London and Brighton, this opportunity offers the perfect balance of high clinical standards, excellent facilities, and strong worklife balance within a supportive team environment.

You'll join a respected, RCVS-accredited practice known for outstanding clinical care and excellent client service. The team includes experienced veterinary surgeons, certificate holders, and an internal medicine specialist, all working within a modern, well-equipped environment. Facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, laparoscopy, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, isolation ward, and dedicated patient areas, supporting a high standard of first-opinion and advanced care.

This role would suit a confident, compassionate vet with strong communication skills who is comfortable with consultations and routine soft tissue surgery. The practice actively supports professional development and welcomes both vets looking to pursue further qualifications and certificate holders keen to utilise their advanced skills.

The position offers a strong focus on worklife balance with a 4-day week, a shared 1 in 4 weekend rota, and no out-of-hours requirements. Routine 20-minute consultations allow for thorough patient care. The package includes a salary of £45,000£65,000 depending on experience, funded CPD and specialisation support, paid professional fees, pension scheme, generous staff discount, and five weeks' holiday plus bank holidays.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive independent practice that combines clinical excellence, modern facilities, and a genuine commitment to staff wellbeing and career development.
