About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Non-Pharmacist Manager to lead a busy independent pharmacy in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing both people and processes.

The pharmacy dispenses approximately 23,000 - 24,000 items per month and is supported by robotic dispensing (Titan system), allowing for efficient workflow and a focus on team leadership and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacyLead, motivate, and manage the pharmacy team to ensure high performanceEnsure smooth dispensing processes and workflow efficiencyMaintain excellent customer service standardsManage staffing, rotas, and performanceEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and company proceduresWork closely with the pharmacist and wider team to deliver safe and effective services
Requirements

Proven management experience (essential)Strong leadership and organisational skillsAbility to work in a high-volume environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA proactive and solutions-focused approachDesirable (but not essential)Dispensing experiencePharmacy Technician qualification or equivalentExperience working within a community pharmacy settingFamiliarity with Titan or automated dispensing systems
