Title: Service manager - Leaving Care TeamLocation: PeterboroughSalary: £450 Umbrella Per day ( £383 PAYE)Hours per week: 37 hours per weekContract type: Initially 3 months - potential to extendWorking on behalf of Peterborough City Council, we are looking for a service manager to lead the Children in care and Leaving care services. About the Role

• Provide operational leadership across our Children in Care and Leaving Care pathways.
• Line-manage Team Managers, Social Workers, and Personal Advisers.
• Ensure consistently good practice, robust oversight of permanence and reunification planning.
• Foster strong multi-agency collaboration to deliver improved outcomes for cared-for children and care-experienced young people.

About You

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• 3 years perm experieince within a local authority
• Substantial leadership experience within Children's Social Care.
• Reflective, proactive, and resilient, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
