Job Description

LSH Auto is searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to become a vital part of our finance team, based at our head office in Stockport. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will ensure the efficient processing of all purchase invoices and payments while maintaining accurate.

Salary - £28,500

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify and process purchase invoices in a timely manner
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies
  • Handle supplier queries and maintain positive supplier relationships
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices and prepare payment runs
  • Assist in month-end reconciliations and reporting tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar role in accounts payable
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
