Job Description
LSH Auto is searching for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to become a vital part of our finance team, based at our head office in Stockport. As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will ensure the efficient processing of all purchase invoices and payments while maintaining accurate.
Salary - £28,500
Key Responsibilities- Verify and process purchase invoices in a timely manner
- Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Handle supplier queries and maintain positive supplier relationships
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and prepare payment runs
- Assist in month-end reconciliations and reporting tasks
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
- Proven experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or similar role in accounts payable
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
