An exceptional opportunity has become available at a leading Legal 500 firm in Leeds, highly regarded for its Private Client & Charity offering. The firm is seeking a Private Client Partner - or an ambitious Senior Solicitor (Legal Director/Senior Associate) with clear partnership aspirations - to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of its Tier 1 ranked Private Client team.

The Opportunity

You will join a forward-thinking and well-established department, working closely with the Head of Department, a Legal 500 and Chambers "Leading Individual". This is a strategic appointment, offering the chance to help shape the team's direction, drive growth and strengthen the firm's profile within the Yorkshire private client market. The role would suit either an established Partner or a Senior Lawyer ready to step up into partnership.

What We're Looking For

• Significant experience handling complex, high-value private client matters
• A strong history of developing and maintaining lasting client relationships
• A commercially minded approach with demonstrable success in business development
• Leadership capability, including supervising and mentoring Junior Lawyers
• STEP qualification (preferred but not essential)
• A clear ambition to build a recognised presence in the Leeds private client sector

• Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax planning
• Trust creation and estate structuring
• Succession planning for business owners and landed estates
