Platform Adoption Engineer

We are Pixie Services, a specialized IT staffing agency. For one of our clients in the energy sector, we are looking for a Senior Platform Adoption Engineer to join a growing internal product team focused on building and scaling a cloud-native development platform.

About the Role

This role is centered on supporting internal software teams as they adopt and use a hybrid-cloud platform designed to accelerate development and operations. You'll act as the key link between users and product teams, ensuring a smooth onboarding, gathering technical feedback, and helping shape the platform's evolution. This is not a customer-facing or sales role - it's a technical position focused on internal enablement, adoption, and product success.

Responsibilities

• Guide internal teams through onboarding and migration to the platform

• Define user journeys and platform use cases at different maturity stages

• Support technical and non-technical user inquiries

• Translate user needs into actionable input for product teams

• Help shape clear, user-friendly documentation in collaboration with the documentation team

• Promote platform value and upcoming features across internal stakeholders

• Act as the voice of internal users, advocating for improvements and closing platform gaps

Required Experience

• 4+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or Data Engineering

• Hands-on experience delivering or supporting a cloud-native PaaS platform

• Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure (especially Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, VPC, IAM, etc.)

• Solid understanding of cloud-native principles (GitOps, IaC, secrets management, monitoring)

• Experience working in cross-functional product and engineering environments

• Excellent communication skills in English, able to explain complex technical topics clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in cloud-native or public cloud technologies

• Familiarity with agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe) and tools (JIRA, Confluence)

• German language skills (B2 or higher)
