Description

We have an opportunity for Part I Architectural Assistants to join our London studio for a one year placement.

We are a friendly, diverse team of around 50 people in London and 30 in Rotterdam, working across residential, education, regeneration and urban scale projects. Our culture is rooted in creating places where people thrive, with quality and sustainability embedded in every decision. We work with focus and precision to shape the built environment, fostering a creative and collaborative studio environment.

We are seeking candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree in architecture (or related discipline) in the previous twelve months and are looking to gain experience in practice as part of their journey towards ARB qualification.

Role and responsibilities

Over the year you will gain broad exposure to architectural and urban design projects, supporting teams with design development, drawings, models and presentation material. You'll contribute to both conceptual and technical stages, assist with research into briefs, materials and construction systems, and learn about regulatory requirements and project coordination.

In addition to project work, you will take part in meetings, site visits, CPD activities, our schools outreach programme, and wider studio activities.

We are looking for candidates with strong academic results, a thoughtful and well presented portfolio, and good digital skills across design software. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach are essential.
