English Teacher - Enfield

An exciting long-term opportunity has arisen at a Secondary SEMH School in Enfield. We are seeking a resilient, passionate, and adaptable teacher to deliver KS3 and KS4 English, while supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs.

• Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons for KS3 & KS4 students
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with SEMH needs and associated behavioural challenges
• Create a positive, nurturing, and structured learning environment
• Support students in developing both academic achievement and personal growth
• Work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team, including support staff and senior leaders
• Contribute to wider curriculum delivery and school life where required

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
• Flexible, proactive, and confident in adapting teaching approaches to meet individual needs
• Previous experience working within SEMH, alternative provision, PRU, or SEN settings is desirable but not essential
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people and helping them achieve their potential
