Job Description

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.

We are currently looking for aOccupational Therapist to lead our team and ensure we are offering the best standard of care to our Residents.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' individual needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment and care plans for each resident.
  • Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions based on residents' clinical requirements.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate residents' progress and response to treatment.
  • Adjust treatment plans as required to support optimal outcomes and wellbeing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date assessment and treatment records.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
  • Liaise effectively with physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support residents and families through education, guidance, and ongoing communication.
  • Contribute to person-centred care and continuous improvement initiatives within the service.
Requirements
  • Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy with current CORU registration.
  • Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience in carrying out assessments, interventions, and developing treatment plans.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to supporting the ongoing development of the multidisciplinary team and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and therapeutic support.
