We are currently looking for aOccupational Therapist to lead our team and ensure we are offering the best standard of care to our Residents.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify residents' individual needs and goals.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment and care plans for each resident.
- Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions based on residents' clinical requirements.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate residents' progress and response to treatment.
- Adjust treatment plans as required to support optimal outcomes and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date assessment and treatment records.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
- Liaise effectively with physiotherapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Support residents and families through education, guidance, and ongoing communication.
- Contribute to person-centred care and continuous improvement initiatives within the service.
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy with current CORU registration.
- Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in carrying out assessments, interventions, and developing treatment plans.
- Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Commitment to supporting the ongoing development of the multidisciplinary team and quality improvement initiatives.
