Automotive MOT Tester & Technician - Up to £40,000 + Great Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday • 08:00am - 05:00pm Salary: Up to £40,000 per year

We're recruiting for a busy, well-regarded local garage offering main-dealer quality servicing and MOT work - with the flexibility, friendly culture and variety that only an independent workshop can offer.

As part of our team, you will:
- Perform Class IV car MOT tests to DVSA standards
- Conduct thorough pre-MOT inspections and detailed vehicle checks
- Diagnose faults accurately and communicate issues clearly
- Carry out mechanical repairs and adjustments required prior to MOT certification
- Record and report inspection results thoroughly and professionally
- Support vehicle servicing and maintenance tasks alongside MOT work
- Engage with customers and provide a friendly, solution-orientated experience
This role delivers a strong mix of MOT testing and mechanical work, giving you variety and progression in your day-to-day duties.
Who We're Looking ForWe want someone who:
- Holds an MOT Licence
- Has proven workshop or MOT experience
- Can perform detailed inspections and fault diagnosis
