Manufacturing Engineer

Role: Manufacturing EngineerLocation: Bacup Hours: Days, 35 hour working weekSalary: Up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience

HRGO Recruitment are partnering with a specialist manufacturing business to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join their technical team.

This is a hands on role within a regulated manufacturing environment, offering the opportunity to lead process improvements and support new product introductions.

The role:

• Drive Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives across production
• Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and support CAPA actions
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and engineering drawings
• Lead process validation activities to ensure manufacturing robustness and compliance
• Support new product introduction and manufacturing optimisation projects
• Design and improve tooling, fixtures, and production processes

The candidate:

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of process validation, quality systems, and lean manufacturing principles
• Proficient in data-driven problem solving
• Hands on, collaborative, and able to work effectively across teams
