Your New Job

You shouldn't supervise a maintenance team? No, you will supervise a maintenance team working across electrical, mechanical, and facility support, ensuring high standards in quality, productivity, and safety. This is a shift-based role (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm) and reports to Industrial Engineering regarding ongoing projects, significant equipment concerns, and people or system updates. The role fosters accountability and encourages proactive problem solving.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the daily activities of the maintenance team
  • Organise team tasks to maximise efficiency and workflow
  • Support team members with troubleshooting and skill development
  • Maintain open communication with various departments as needed
  • Monitor and enhance workplace safety processes
  • Keep accurate records of shift activities and resolve non-conformances
  • Ensure all work meets quality expectations in a safe, tidy environment
What Are We Looking For?
  • Experience in a similar foreman or team lead role, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Recognised qualification as an Electrician or in Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting
  • Excellent communicator; computer literate
  • Track record with quality and health & safety standards
  • Self-motivated, driven, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to engage in training or meetings outside standard hours
  • Normal colour vision and ability to complete manual tasks
  • Strong teamwork, initiative, and organisational skills
