Vickerstock are excited to be working in partnership with our global FMCG client who are proud to be one of the UK's and Irelands largest producers in their field and are seeking to appoint an experienced Maintenance Manager to join them at their impressive state of the art factory in Carrickmacross.

The Maintenance Manager will lead the implementation of asset management best practices and play a key role in shaping the site's engineering strategy. This includes standardising engineering systems across all production streams and developing robust preventive maintenance programs. The role also involves overseeing spare parts stock management and optimising the use of maintenance systems to support operational efficiency.

Key Duties
  • Lead daily maintenance operations to ensure equipment, facilities, and systems run efficiently.
  • Manage departmental and spare parts budgets within company financial parameters.
  • Plan, prioritise, and support maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (Health & Safety, Food Safety, Environmental).
  • Oversee team development through appraisals, training, and performance management.
  • Promote a positive working environment and apply disciplinary procedures when necessary.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the department.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and support operational goals.
  • Organise regular team meetings to align with operational and company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance policies and implement standards.
  • Monitor and maintain both site and central KPIs.
  • Support new product and process integration in partnership with production and development teams.
We are looking for:
  • Senior level leader within manufacturing
  • Electrical or Mechanical qualification, Level 3 minimum
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Focused on continuous improvement
  • Extensive knowledge of site utilities, services and infrastructure
