We're currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global facilities management company for an experienced Static Maintenance Plumber to join the on-site engineering team at a prestigious landmark commercial building in Dublin City Centre.
This is a permanent, site-based role offering the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with excellent long-term career prospects, ongoing training, and a supportive engineering team.
Your New RoleAs a Static Maintenance Plumber, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring all plumbing and mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive plumbing maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair faults on domestic water services and associated plant.
- Maintain pumps, valves, booster sets, TMVs, sanitaryware, drainage systems and general pipework.
- Complete PPM tasks in line with maintenance schedules.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety and compliance standards.
- Accurately complete maintenance reports using the site's CAFM system.
- Work closely with the wider engineering team to deliver a first-class maintenance service.
- Qualified Plumber with a recognised trade qualification.
- Previous experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
- Good understanding of building services and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
