Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Salary: £33,202 to £42,266 per annum
Location: Wakefield College
We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Lecturer in Biology to join our expanding A Levels team. With a strong focus on high quality teaching and learning, this is an excellent opportunity to join an established, talented and supportive team.
Our A Levels program has a strong academic ethos, working towards excellence for our students and helping each individual to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities- Teach A Level Biology and Level 3 Applied Science AAQ.
- Deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment.
- Stretch and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
- Work well as part of a teaching team and support students' development.
- A degree in Biology, Biochemistry or a related discipline.
- GCSEs in English and Maths A -C/9-4 or equivalent.
- PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification desirable (not essential).
- Experience of teaching A Levels or a similar Level 3 qualification.
