The RoleAs Deputy Headteacher - Student Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing our pastoral systems, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive.
- Lead on behaviour, safeguarding (deputy DSL), and student welfare.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance and engagement.
- Work closely with staff, students, and families to create a safe, inclusive, and aspirational school culture.
- Drive forward initiatives that support mental health, wellbeing, and personal development.
- Be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the school.
- Has a proven track record of improving student behaviour, attendance, and wellbeing.
- Is a strong and visible presence, able to inspire and motivate students and staff.
- Demonstrates a commitment to inclusion and equity for all learners.
- Has experience in safeguarding and child protection at a senior level.
- Possesses the resilience, creativity, and ambition to help drive rapid school improvement.
- Be part of a committed and forward-thinking leadership team.
