Responsibilities
  • Operate extrusion machinery in accordance with site procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Monitor and manage line output rates, utilisation, scrap levels against plan/targets on each line.
  • Monitor of product quality and ensure all quality checks and testing is carried out in line with specifications.
  • Ensure accurate data is recorded and reported correctly.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are mainatined.
  • Reporting all hazards and act on them accordingly.
  • Communicate any issues to relavent supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating extrusion machines or in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essenntial as full training will be given.
  • Good team working and communication.
  • Positive and pro-active attitude.
  • Be able to work unsupervised and using own initiative.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities to ensure deadlines are met.
