An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a Equality, Diversity & Welsh Language Officer.
What you will be doing?To support the Equality and Diversity Manager in developing strategies and policies relevant to the business area, and to help influence policies and practices across other business areas also;
To support the Equality, Diversity and Welsh Language Manager report progress against the Strategic Equality Plan and the Welsh Language Standards to the Senior Management Team, Equality and Human Rights Commission, Welsh Language Commissioner and other bodies as required
To advise departments across the Force with regards to their compliance with Equality Act 2010, Public Sector Equality Duty and Welsh language (Wales) Measure 2011 and subsequent internal policies and procedures.
