Employment Solicitor (Contentious) - Basingstoke

My client is seeking an ambitious Employment Solicitor to join its growing contentious employment team. This is an excellent opportunity to build your practice while working on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters for employers and senior executives.

The role will include advising on disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies, employment status and terminations, as well as acting on workplace disputes, settlement agreements and employment tribunal claims.

You will manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision, support on more complex matters and play an active role in business development, networking and marketing. You will also contribute to thought leadership through articles, seminars and online content.

My client is looking for a high-calibre Solicitor with 2-4 years' post-qualification experience in employment law. Candidates should have experience advising both employers and employees, strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and a practical, solution-focused approach. A commercial mindset, enthusiasm for developing client relationships and the ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team are essential.
