A highly regarded and creative secondary school in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is working in partnership with a specialist education recruitment agency to appoint an inspiring Drama Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Drama Teacher to join a vibrant Performing Arts department.
The RoleAs a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The successful Drama Teacher will inspire students to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills.
Key responsibilities for this Drama Teacher role include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality Drama lessons
- Teaching GCSE and A-Level Drama (where applicable)
- Directing school productions and performances
- Encouraging student participation in extracurricular activities
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Supporting the development of a creative and inclusive curriculum
