A highly regarded and creative secondary school in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is working in partnership with a specialist education recruitment agency to appoint an inspiring Drama Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Drama Teacher to join a vibrant Performing Arts department.

The Role

As a Drama Teacher, you will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The successful Drama Teacher will inspire students to develop confidence, creativity, and performance skills.

Key responsibilities for this Drama Teacher role include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Drama lessons
  • Teaching GCSE and A-Level Drama (where applicable)
  • Directing school productions and performances
  • Encouraging student participation in extracurricular activities

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher who:

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and creativity
  • Has a passion for theatre and performance
  • Is willing to contribute to extracurricular productions and school life

This role is suitable for both an experienced Drama Teacher and an Early Career Teacher.
