Domestic Assistant

Responsible for: To undertake a wide range of domestic tasks and to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness in all areas of the nursery.

Accountable to: Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, and Board of Directors

Duties:

1. Wash and dry all laundry on a daily basis to include folding and putting clean washing into the appropriate sections.
2. Wash dishes in the kitchen area after dinner in the evening and sterilize all surfaces.
3. Clean the staff room weekly: include the fridge, cupboards, bins and surrounding areas.
4. Prepare the breakfast trolley of each of the rooms.
5. Accommodate any cleaning duties deemed necessary by either the Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager.
6. Ensure confidentiality is maintained in the nursery.
