Data Analyst - Data Quality & Controlled Vocabularies (Pharma)

We're hiring a Data Analyst to support a major data workstream within the life sciences sector. The role focuses on data quality, controlled vocabularies, master data alignment, and resolving cross-system data issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update the data inconsistency tracker/Kanban board.

• Triage new issues, define use cases, and identify root causes.

• Oversee Controlled Vocabulary mapping and validation with SMEs.

• Support MDM activities (Reltio), including capturing aligned synonyms.

• Track risks and unresolved data issues; prepare summaries for leadership.

• Collaborate with data teams, SMEs, and stakeholders to resolve issues.

Skills & Experience

• Strong data analysis and problem-solving capability.

• Experience with data quality, MDM, or controlled vocabularies.

• Ability to develop clear use cases and work across multiple groups.

• Familiar with tools such as SQL, Azure (ADF/Databricks/Synapse), Purview, and ideally Reltio.

• Life sciences experience highly desirable.
