Pab Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a respected and growing law firm in Greater Manchester for an experienced Criminal Solicitor. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and forward thinking legal practice where you'll handle a varied criminal law caseload, represent clients throughout the criminal justice process, and contribute to the continued growth of a successful Criminal Defence team. Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of criminal law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
• Advise and represent clients at police stations, courts, and client meetings.
• Represent clients in Magistrates' Courts and undertake advocacy where appropriate.
• Prepare cases for hearings and trial, including briefing counsel when required.
• Manage legal aid applications and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate case files, billing records, and case progression.
• Participate in out-of-hours work and court attendance where required.

Requirements Essential

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
• Experience across Criminal Law.
• Ability to manage a criminal law caseload independently.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• High professional and ethical standards.

Desirable

• Experience representing clients at police stations.
• Magistrates' Court advocacy experience.
• Legal Aid experience.
• Duty Solicitor Accreditation.
