Cook - St Mary's Primary

Location: Walthamstow E17

Hours: 37.5 - 9am to 4.30pm - 46.84 working weeks

Salary: £33,500

covers: 450

Duties:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
• Oversee and assist kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
• Ensure proper portion control and presentation of dishes
• Monitor food quality and taste for consistency
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with the chef to develop new menu items
• Train new kitchen staff members

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
• Ability to work well in a team environment
