As a Category Assistant atBargain Chemist, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient andeffective management of product categories within our retail pharmacy business.

What you will be doing:

• Supportthe Merch Manager with day-to-day category administration across rangedbrands and SKUs
• CoordinateNPD submissions: gather supplier information, validate forms, trackins/outs, and support Merch Manager to prepare brand review packs
• Manageand chase supplier documentation (cost files, RRPs, promo plans, scan backconfirmations, launch plans, images/POS assets)
• Liaisewith suppliers on cost queries, invoice discrepancies, credits/returns,and ensure agreed terms are applied
• Maintainand update promo grid with any supplier changes (mailer, TPR or scan backs)
• StoreCommunications
• Supportwith range reviews: competitor checks, price benchmarking, storeimplementation and communication, ins and outs
• Keepsupplier records organised: rate cards, promo confirmations, submissions,and key communications

What you bring to the role:

• Ability to follow process
• Attention to detail and ability to problemsolve.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office,particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced skills).
• Previous experience working with orsupporting category management teams is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
