We are seeking a skilled and reliable Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meat cutting, preparation, and display, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Cut, trim, debone, and prepare various types of meat (beef, pork, poultry, lamb, etc.)
  • Maintain proper portion control and presentation standards
  • Ensure all meat is handled, stored, and displayed according to food safety regulations
  • Assist customers with meat selection, cutting requests, and cooking recommendations
  • Operate knives, saws, grinders, and other meat-processing equipment safely
  • Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and well-stocked
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excess stock
  • Follow health, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
Qualifications
  • Previous butcher or meat-cutting experience preferred (training may be provided)
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of different cuts of meat
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to X lbs)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to food safety
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a cold environment and stand for extended periods
