Senior Chemical Engineer Location: Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland Salary: €55,000 - €70,000 DOE Are you a results driven and technically strong, senior chemical engineer, looking for a new role in Drogheda? This role could be right for you. My client is offering a fantastic package for the right person to play a key role in supporting production operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring optimal plant performance. The right candidate will be an experienced Chemical Engineer, degree qualified in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or equivalent. Monitor and optimise crushing, grinding, and kiln performance to improve efficiency and product quality. Analyse process performance (including heat transfer, mass balances, and process design) to identify improvements. Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions. Assist with projects, contractor coordination, plant shutdowns, and commissioning activities while maintaining safety standards.Requirements: Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent 3-4 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment Strong technical knowledge with a hands-on, analytical approach Experience managing or contributing to projects Commercial awareness beneficialWR Logistics are the recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
