Bailiff / Bailiff Trainee in an Office of Enforcement and Bankruptcy Job Description The Offices of Enforcement and Bankruptcy are strengthening their teams and are looking for committed individuals to carry out a mission essential to the proper functioning of the offices. We are primarily recruiting an experienced bailiff from an Office of Enforcement and Bankruptcy (OPF). Failing that, we also offer an opportunity leading to this position as a bailiff trainee. You will be integrated into the bankruptcy office of the Broye and North Vaud district, which has more than 10 employees, and within an experienced, supportive, and committed team. Responsibilities Experienced Bailiff You autonomously handle enforcement and bankruptcy procedures. Bailiff Trainee (the following activities are progressively carried out under supervision): managing bankruptcy files and enforcing measures (inventorying assets and liabilities or seizable goods), conducting hearings for bankrupt individuals, and participating in the distribution of funds. Contributing to the management of real estate cases, income seizures, and movable sales. Requirements Commercial employee experience, experience in the field of enforcement, bankruptcy, or litigation: a knowledge of enforcement procedures is an advantage. For those to be trained: a strong desire to learn and evolve in this demanding field. A sense of public service, very good resilience, speed, and precision. Ability to manage conflicts, assertiveness. Mastery of spelling and comfort with numerous professional evolution and continuous training possibilities exist within the Offices of Enforcement and Bankruptcy. As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to present an extract from the enforcement register and a criminal record of less than 3 months. Engagement at a lower salary grade is possible if the duration of experience related to the field and the level of competencies are insufficient at the time of recruitment. WHO ARE WE?
