Job Description

As Team Manager for the Adoption Service, you will be responsible for the overall management of the team, supervision of staff, attendance at regional meetings and the Childrens Service management team. You will be responsible for the performance and progression of the team as part of a regional service, ensuring a high standard of practice is consistently achieved. You will work alongside other teams to support the recruitment and application process of perspective adopters.

Qualifications
  • A degree or equivalent in Social Work with significant post qualification experience.
  • Experience of supervising staff.
  • Experience of adoption work.
  • Flexible working to meet the demands of the service.
  • Commitment to developing the service as part of the regional collaborative.
What you will do
  • Supervision of staff members.
  • Quality assure work in line with process and procedure.
  • Attend regional meetings, workstreams and team manager meetings.
  • Work closely with the service to ensure a smooth service delivery.

This position requires an Enhanced DBS Check.
