Youth Justice Worker - Youth Justice Service -

Birmingham Children's Trust is seeking a Youth Justice Worker to join their Youth Justice Service based in Aston, Birmingham (B6 4DU). This temporary role pays £18.78 £24.34 per hour via Prism, starting on 29 June 2026. The role involves delivering services that meet the individual needs of children and young people, their families and caregivers, with a focus on reducing and preventing reoffending.

• Plan and implement diversion from court programmes.
• Manage young people through court processes and referral order panels.
• Compile Pre Sentence Reports in line with national standards.
• Supervise Youth Rehabilitation Orders and through care licence arrangements.
• Act as case manager for court orders.
• Contribute to Bail Support Services.
• Deliver restorative approaches that address victim needs alongside rehabilitation.
• Liaise with multi agency partners and community stakeholders.
• Contribute to the Youth Justice Plan and performance measures.
• Participate in quality assurance processes.
• Commit to anti oppressive practice and awareness of current youth justice legislation.

• Experience in youth justice or youth offending work.
• Availability to start in late June.
