A high-achieving and supportive primary school in Rotherham is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our Key Stage 2 team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced KS2 teacher or an exceptional ECT ready to take on the exciting challenge of teaching Year 6.

The Role - Year 6 Class Teacher (Rotherham)

As our Year 6 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Prepare pupils effectively for KS2 SATs assessments
• Track pupil progress and implement targeted interventions
• Foster resilience, independence, and confidence in upper KS2 learners
• Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and senior leaders

You will play a key role in ensuring pupils leave primary school academically prepared and emotionally ready for secondary education.

What We Are Looking For

We welcome applications from teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable)
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Have a proven track record of raising attainment
• Possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Are committed to high expectations and inclusive practice
