Position: Platform Manager

Your role

We are seeking a Platform Manager to join and help grow a busy, dedicated team of network professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Maintaining and supporting a small Windows-based Live Service Network with various hosted applications.
  2. Providing Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  3. Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and successful implementation of network changes.
  4. Assisting departments to maintain network security.
  5. Establishing and following processes, procedures, and work instructions.
  6. Keeping accurate records of network components, maintenance activities, connections, and inventory by maintaining appropriate databases.
  7. Providing technical on-call support out of hours on a 1 in 3-week rotation.
Your experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows systems.
  • Good understanding of networks.
  • Experience in running and maintaining a monthly security patching process.
  • Knowledge of PKI.
Desirable skills
  • Understanding of handling sensitive material.
  • Experience in maintaining a document library.
  • Ability to run and interpret daily environment checks.

This role requires you to be willing and eligible to undergo a high level of UK security clearance.
