Are you looking for a new role? Our well-established, successful and growing client based in Swindon is looking for a Welding and Fabrication Engineer to join their company!

Welding and Fabrication Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG, MAG, TIG, and MMA welding
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Assemble structural steelwork and fabricate metal components using mechanical knowledge
• Carry out quality inspections to ensure final products meet project specifications
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship while adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

Welding and Fabrication Ideal Candidate:

• Skilled in MIG, MAG, TIG, and MMA welding techniques
• Competent in the safe use of hand and power tools
• Possesses basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
• Experienced in metal fabrication and component assembly
• Strong mechanical aptitude for fitting and assembling parts
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Confident in reading and working from technical drawings and specifications

Welding and Fabrication Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 17:00
• Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
• 45 minute unpaid break
• 15 minute paid break
• 28 days a year holiday inclusive of eight current recognised Bank Holidays
• Industry training and development provided
• Company uniform and PPE provided
• On-Site Parking
