Our client, a well-established warranty provider based in Reading, Berkshire, is seeking a Warranty Claims Assessor to become a key member of their expanding team. Duties as a Warranty Claims Assessor will include:
  • Assess warranty repair claims using industry-specific software
  • Liaise with workshops and customers via telephone, email, and internal systems
  • Verify repair costs, diagnose causes for mechanical and electrical failures
  • Ensure accuracy of parts and labour costs, sourcing reconditioned or refurbished parts when appropriate
  • Process customer contributions for repairs
  • Maintain knowledge of warranty cover levels and procedures
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally
  • Comply with GDPR and data protection regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements for the Warranty Claims Assessor position:
  • Automotive or mechanical background with experience as a service advisor, technician, or engineer
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Knowledge of warranty procedures, claims processing, and industry software
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and repair management tools
  • Organised with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage repairs efficiently and accurately
