As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and manage our warehouse operations in Waterford.

Reporting directly to senior management, the successful candidate will oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics coordination, team leadership, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring materials are available to project teams when required while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials, tools and equipment.

Oversee all goods receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch activities.

Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are effectively monitored and controlled.

Coordinate material deliveries to project sites, ensuring schedules and client requirements are met.

Implement and maintain warehouse procedures, systems and controls to improve efficiency and operational performance.

Manage warehouse personnel, providing leadership, training, support and performance management.

Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies, warehouse procedures and statutory requirements.

Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.

Liaise with procurement, project teams, suppliers and logistics providers to ensure smooth material flow and availability.

Monitor warehouse KPIs and provide regular reports on stock levels, material movements and operational performance.

Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean, organised and safe condition at all times.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, accuracy, productivity and customer service.

Key Skills and Competencies

Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory management or materials coordination within a construction, manufacturing or industrial environment.

Proven experience managing warehouse operations and leading teams.

Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control processes and warehouse best practices.

Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.

Experience within the Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Manufacturing or Construction sectors would be highly desirable.
