We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager on behalf of a leading home improvement supply and installation client based in Tralee, County Kerry. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective day to day management of warehouse operations. This role will focus on maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries, upholding health and safety standards, improving operational efficiency, and working closely with cross functional teams to ensure the warehouse operates at peak performance. This is a full time, on site position.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
- Lead, train, and support warehouse staff.
- Manage inventory accuracy and stock control.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain health and safety standards and conduct regular checks.
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Monitor performance and implement process improvements.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Work closely with warehouse colleagues, showroom staff, and installation teams to ensure smooth operations.
- 2+ years' experience in a warehouse supervisory role
- Full driver's license and forklift license is essential.
- Strong leadership and training skills.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem solving abilities.
A competitive salary is available and will be negotiated based on experience. This is a full time permanent position in Tralee, County Kerry.
