WAREHOUSE MANAGER

TEMP - PERM

UP TO £40,000 (depending on experience)

MONDAY - THURSDAY 6.30AM - 4.30PM FRIDAYS 6.30AM - 4PM

We are looking for an experienced, hands on Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for the day to day running of a fast paced steel stock holding warehouse.

Reporting directly to the Company Directors, you will manage warehouse staff, stock, transport, equipment and Health & Safety, ensuring a safe, efficient and well organised operation. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example in a busy, physical warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and training warehouse and driver staff
• Goods inwards/outwards, stock and quality control
• Order picking, packing and bar sawing
• Transport planning, loading/unloading and occasional driving
• Health & Safety compliance and housekeeping
• Maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Security, key holding and overtime management

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a steel stock holding or similar warehouse environment
• Previous supervisory experience (preferred)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Forklift licence and full driving licence
• A reliable, hands on and safety focused approach
