UP TO £40,000 (depending on experience)
MONDAY - THURSDAY 6.30AM - 4.30PM FRIDAYS 6.30AM - 4PM
We are looking for an experienced, hands on Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for the day to day running of a fast paced steel stock holding warehouse.
Reporting directly to the Company Directors, you will manage warehouse staff, stock, transport, equipment and Health & Safety, ensuring a safe, efficient and well organised operation. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example in a busy, physical warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities include:- Supervising and training warehouse and driver staff
- Goods inwards/outwards, stock and quality control
- Order picking, packing and bar sawing
- Transport planning, loading/unloading and occasional driving
- Health & Safety compliance and housekeeping
- Maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Security, key holding and overtime management
- Experience in a steel stock holding or similar warehouse environment
- Previous supervisory experience (preferred)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Forklift licence and full driving licence
- A reliable, hands on and safety focused approach
