Our client is seeking a hands-on, process-driven Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Basildon, Essex. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on structure, drives efficiency through continuous improvement, and leads by example.

Responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse operations, from inbound deliveries to outbound shipments
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, using lean methodologies where appropriate
• Maintain accurate inventory control and implement stock management processes
• Monitor, report and act on KPIs, ensuring targets are met or exceeded
• Ensure full compliance with H&S, quality, and operational standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and inventory systems
• A data-led approach to performance management and improvement
• Experience with WMS systems and Excel reporting
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A commitment to health & safety compliance
