Job Description

The VP Sales & Product Marketing will set a strong commercial direction for us, translating strategy into action and leading high performing sales and product marketing teams to deliver against a plan.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation and with partners in industry, academia and government, you will play a critical role in enabling the translation of world leading research into impactful products and services that support UK and international market success.

Culture is important to us at CSA Catapult, and so you'll be able to motivate people and get the very best from them. We see the value in diversity in all its forms and we have worked hard to create an inclusive workplace where everyone feels that they can bring their whole self to work. As a senior leader in the business, you'll champion this and ensure everyone can reach their true potential.

Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver and maintain a robust, qualified sales pipeline to achieve agreed revenue and margin targets
  • Provide clear, inspirational leadership to the Sales and Product Marketing teams, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy and business goals
  • Develop and shape a balanced portfolio of commercial and collaborative R&D programmes in line with the Catapult's business plan
  • Clearly define, articulate and evolve the Catapult's product and service offerings, ensuring strong market fit
  • Continually assess market intelligence and competitive positioning, providing insight into total addressable markets (TAM)
  • As a member of the Leadership Team, contribute to the planning and delivery of annual O&O plans and the five year business plan
  • Act as the organisation's commercial ambassador, presenting the Catapult's capabilities, services and roadmaps to customers, partners and stakeholders
  • Develop international collaborations to support the success of UK partner organisations
  • Support the organisation to identify, bid for and close projects and funding sources beyond core grant and CRD routes
