We Are Seeking a Passionate Volunteer Coordinator!

Our ethos is centred around the principles of harm reduction, we provide non-judgmental, fact-based, information and advice surrounding drug and alcohol use and the associated risks. We aim to give young people and young adults the knowledge and skills to make more informed choices, to keep themselves and their peers aware, safe, and well when it comes to drugs/alcohol.
As a trusted and leading provider in the field, we are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to join our amazing team.
Where: Sheffield
Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: £32,002.35 - £34,214.20
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
ResponsibilitiesAbout the role:
- Working in collaboration with service leaders and staff team in order to identify meaningful opportunities for volunteers & student placements
- Creating and supporting a positive culture of volunteering within the service
- Recruit, train and coordinate volunteers & student placements
- Working collaboratively and reflectively with the assigned Regional Volunteering Lead and other service-based Volunteering Leads across the organisation
- Developing internal and external links in order to attract volunteers & student placements (e.g. universities)
- Training colleagues in how to support and supervise volunteers, providing direct line management supervision when required
About You:
To be a great fit for this role, you should possess:
- Knowledge & experience of working with young people and/or young adults
- Experienced in recruiting, training, and managing volunteers
- Knowledge of the issues & challenges faced by young people & young adults (those aged 16 to 25)
- Experienced in delivering learning and training to others
- Accomplished written and verbal skills and a high degree of IT competency
- Ability to employ a professional, empathic, and non judgmental approach
