Volunteer Car Driver - Sheffield

We have a fantastic opportunity for Volunteer Car Drivers to join our team in Sheffield. As a Patient Transport Volunteer Driver you will be the friendly face patients rely on when travelling to vital medical appointments, ensuring they arrive safely and on time.
Main responsibilities- Drive patients to non emergency appointments.
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for seamless operations.
- Provide reassurance and support during patient journeys.
- Maintain a clean, friendly vehicle environment.
- Respect patient confidentiality and follow all safety procedures.
- £0.50 per mile with reimbursement for approved expenses.
- Comprehensive induction, training, and ongoing support.

- A valid UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
- Access to a 4 door car or larger.
- A friendly and empathetic demeanour.

This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a Disclosure & Barring Service check to confirm no disqualifying convictions.
