Job Purpose

You will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function and lead the financial planning, management reporting, cost management and business analysis of InfraRed. You will also be expected to drive change in management reporting to produce insightful information for management across InfraRed and its funds.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Owns and manages InfraRed's planning & forecasting (P&F) cycles; requesting and collating data from the business, challenging inputs, disseminating meaningful outputs to the Management team
• Drive systemisation and standardisation, and ongoing process improvements. Lead the utilization of PowerBI to lift analysis and reporting accuracy and quality.
• Ensure the integrity of outputs, data, financial models through implementation of suitable controls, documentation and testing
• Responsible for producing monthly and quarterly forecasts, working in alignment with Central Finance
• Own the development and delivery of the five-year strategic plan and one year business plan.
• Lead scenario modelling to assess risks and aid decision making
• Responsible for balance sheet forecasting for regulatory purposes.
• Lead and develop the wider Finance team's analysis capability through having input into learning and development initiatives
• Work with the system accountant to provide intelligence to finance in terms of converting data into meaningful information aid management reporting

Skills and Qualifications

• Qualified accountant, ACA preferred
• FP&A experience gained within financial services, Investment management preferred
• Advanced analysis skills, including experience modelling complex spreadsheets with large amounts of data, and use of BI tools (ideally PowerBI)
• Ability to gain a good overview as well as being prepared to get involved in the detail
• Confident when communicating with staff and management at all levels, good ability with PowerPoint
• Numerate, methodical and proactive
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral, and strong attention to detail
